Taught by Ms. Uta Fuchs, GISB Teacher
Language: German
Full Semester: Wednesdays 2:15 - 3:05 for students in grades 3 and 4 (starting October 2)
This class is for anyone who enjoys working with their hands. Needlework helps with concentration and fine motor skills. Traditional crafts have been enjoyed by people of all ages for thousands of years. Offered will be knitting and crocheting, from beginners to more complicated pieces. We learn how to cast on, knit and purl and to cast off; simple patterns and increasing stitches. Own ideas and suggestions are welcome. Materials for the basic projects will be provided. Students will get to take their projects home to work on, but must remember to return with them the following week.
