GISB Symphony practice: Elementary School Taught by Ms. Regine Schemroske, GISB music teacher Language: German Full Semester Commitment: Mondays 2:10 - 3:10* for all elementary GISB Symphony students. This GISB Symphony practice serves to provide the elementary school students extra attention and support to participate in the GISB symphony orchestra and have some fun playing music together. It will help them gain confidence and develop a love for music. In this smaller setting the music team will attempt to cater to the individual needs of these young musicians. We will perform at the Winterfest and welcome musical parents to join the performance. Requirements: -Enjoyment of making music with others -Playing a percussion Instrument: drums, triangles, rattles, pipes, etc. (no lessons required) -2 year private instrumental lessons: piano (marimba players), saxophone, clarinet, flute, recorder, violin, viola, cello etc. *Although we will meet weekly, instrumental families (sectionals) will have a chance to rehearse according to a schedule. Feel free to reach out to Regine Shemroske (GISB Music Teacher) or Pauke Corstens (Parent volunteer) if you have any questions. The GISB Symphony is made possible through the generous support of a private donor, allowing participation at no cost for our students. We welcome donations to our Musical Symphony Fund.
