Grades 1 - 3

Coaches: Alex Tufts and Moritz Hug-Moesinger

Practices are planned for 3:15 - 4:15 and the team is open to all students in grades 1 - 3. We may split into two teams based on enrollment (and DOB of the players) so there may be adjusted practice times for November - February.

The co-ed GISB Futsal teams will practice once a week here at school and we plan to join the Winter Futsal League. Tentative dates and schedule are below and more information can be found on the Mass Youth Futsal website. All team fees include a new GISB uniform.

Registration is for the practices and the games - in August, based on a enrollment, we may have an option for students to sign up only for the practices and no games.

General Info:

One session of 10 games in 8 or 9 weeks
​Age groups: 2007-2019
Multiple divisions for all skill and experience levels
Games officiated by US Soccer certified futsal referees
Session concludes with semifinals and/or finals and friendlies
Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place
Team trophies for 1st and 2nd place

League dates:

Saturdays: 12/6, 12/13, 12/20, 1/3, 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7
Sundays: 12/7, 12/14, 12/21, 1/4, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8


Game ranges:

2019-2016 / 1st-4th grades - Saturday, mornings/early afternoon
2015-2012 / 5th-7th grades - Saturday, afternoons/evenings
2012-2006 / 8th-12th grades - Sunday
