GISB Middle School Abroad
Germany Trip Summer 2026 (June 27 - July 4)
We are thrilled to share a brand-new opportunity for our students! In summer 2026, GISB will launch a pilot GISB Middle School Abroad trip to Germany. This program also marks the kickoff of our 25th anniversary year, and we could not imagine a better way to begin the celebrations.
We will take a group of 25 students (rising grades 5 through 8 / current grades 4 to 7) to Kindercamp Sonnenhof, a traditional Bavarian farmstead located near the Bavarian Alps. Students will experience a full daily program that includes outdoor adventures and excursions such as Salzburg, Munich’s Deutsches Museum, Schloss Herrenchiemsee, a ropes course, Hintersee and Zauberwald hikes, and more. The group will be accompanied by Miriam Hassman, Kathrin Petzold and Felix Read. Thanks to our partnership with Condor Airlines we are able to offer this trip at an all-inclusive price of $2,500. New: We are now also able to offer a Non-Flyer Option for $1450. Families who choose the Non-Flyer Option are responsible for transport to and from Kindercamp Sonnenhof.
